Supermodel
So I had a date with Supermodel on Saturday noon. Damn. He's just too good-looking for words.
I invited him to accompany me to a film function with a high profile Hollywood director as the guest of honour. He seemed quite pleased. Afterwards, we retreated to a nice bar/restaurant for a very late lunch.
We had alot to talk about in terms of relating to each other, a very balanced conversation. By the time I looked at my watch, I've spent nearly 6 hours in the company of this hunk. The thought that he might get sick of me, too much too soon too fast, took hold. I felt a need to end the date. I took charge and told him I had to do some shopping errands before the stores close.
Outside the restaurant, we said our goodbyes. I gave Supermodel a big hug. I wanted to kiss him, but I felt it was too bold of a move. Yesterday, I received a message from him. He said he had a great (not good, great!) time meeting such a cutie. [insert BIG sigh here] I'm not really sure if I want to proceed with what we might have, but I'm in total bliss nonetheless.
Earlier today, I ran into an old post from handsome Rob at Apt.604. His date sent him an e-mail that I could identify with to some degree: "the thing that sucks about meeting up over lunch is not having a chance to kiss . . ."
