An Image from Montreal: part one
As promised, I will be posting a few pictures taken during last weekend's excursion.
As for the photo above: the view is astonishing, n'est pas? It's even more astonishing considering that picture-taking aren't allowed. I break rules I guess. I hid my camera. And to be honest, I can't recall the name of this cathedral. I visited too many.
For an update: I just got a second e-mail from the Quebecois, Bronze Medalist. The guy is still buttering me up. He says I'm charming and advised me "don't use your super power for moving fast..."
Whatever that means.
*** Update: Special Thanks to self-proclaimed anti-religious and anti-christian Rob at Orbicon who was kind enough to e-mail me that the picture above was from"...Notre Dame Basilca in Montreal. I checked it out a few years ago."
Rob, you're so sweet but I consulted my map and realized that the cathedral featured above was actually Cathedrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde.
I got a chance to take pictures of Basilique Notre Dame in Old Montreal (click here) but the photos didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. The cute security boy was very distracting. I couldn't hold the camera still.
