The First Road Block
Rockboy and I have now been dating for over 3 weeks. This weekend, we stumbled upon our first road block. The cause of the barrier?
Rockboy met R&J.
Who's R&J? I'm hesitant to talk about them, but R&J is a couple I dated on and off for over a year. We have since become very close friends. I consider them to be 2 of the 3 most important people in my life, aside from family.
Perhaps Rockboy is intimidated with my friendship with R&J. He expressed concerns that my relationship with them was "weird". He doesn't know what to make of it. He was also concerned I was dating him because of the attention he gives me, much like my confession that I loved the attention I used to get from dating two men at once.
To counter this, I have devised a plan to prove myself, his worth to me. I drafted a list. I will share part of this list in future posts.
Perhaps it was a judgment error on my part to have him meet R&J this soon. But it was my birthday and I wanted the most important people in my life present for my birthday dinner.
